Terms and Conditions for Cleaning Services in Aberdeen, Scotland
Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before availing the cleaning services offered by LHK (“the Company"). These Terms govern the relationship between the Company and the customer ("you" or "the Customer") in relation to the cleaning services provided in Aberdeen, Scotland. By engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
1. Service Agreement: 1.1 The Company agrees to provide cleaning services to the Customer at the specified location(s) as agreed upon. 1.2 The specific services to be provided will be outlined in the service agreement or as discussed and confirmed in writing/email.
2. Pricing and Payment: 2.1 The Customer agrees to pay the Company the agreed-upon fees for the cleaning services provided. Payment terms will be communicated in the service agreement or as discussed and confirmed in writing/email. 2.2 Additional services or changes requested by the Customer may incur extra charges, and the Customer will be notified of these charges before they are incurred. 2.3 Payment for services rendered is due upon completion unless otherwise stated in the service agreement.
2.4 The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate services if payment is not received in a timely manner.
3. Cancellation and Rescheduling: 3.1 The Customer must provide at least 1 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling of cleaning appointments. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a cancellation fee. 3.2 The Company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule cleaning appointments due to unforeseen circumstances, such as emergencies or staff unavailability. In such cases, the Company will make reasonable efforts to notify the Customer as soon as possible and arrange an alternative appointment.
4. Customer's Responsibilities: 4.1 The Customer agrees to provide accurate and detailed information about the premises to be cleaned, including any potential hazards or special requirements. 4.2 The Customer is responsible for ensuring access to the premises at the agreed-upon time. If access is not possible, the Customer may be subject to a cancellation fee. 4.3 The Customer should remove or secure any valuable or fragile items before the cleaning service commences. The Company will not be held responsible for any damage or loss unless directly caused by its negligence.
5. Insurance and Liability: 5.1 The Company maintains liability insurance coverage, and the Customer's property is protected against damages caused by the Company's negligence during the provision of cleaning services. 5.2 The Company shall not be liable for damages or losses resulting from the Customer's negligence, failure to secure the premises, or any pre-existing damage or wear and tear. 5.3 The Customer is responsible for reporting any damages or losses within 24 hours of the cleaning service being completed. Failure to report within this timeframe may limit the Company's ability to address the issue.
6. Confidentiality and Privacy: 6.1 The Company respects the privacy of its customers and agrees to handle all personal and sensitive information in compliance with applicable data protection laws. 6.2 The Customer's personal information will only be used for the purposes of providing cleaning services and will not be shared with third parties unless required by law or with the Customer's consent.
7. Termination: 7.1 Either party may terminate the service agreement by providing written notice in advance, as specified in the service agreement or as mutually agreed upon. 7.2 Termination by the Customer before completion of the agreed-upon services may result in a termination fee, as specified in the service agreement.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction: 8.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.
By engaging our cleaning services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Terms and Conditions. These Terms may be subject to change, and the most recent version will be made available on our website or upon request.
